Jesse Baker Lang

Jesse Baker Lang, 75, passed away on Feb. 5, 2022, in Perry.

He was born Feb. 26, 1946, in Naples to Franklin Lang and Theresa Sheffield Lang.

Jesse was of the Baptist faith and honorably served our country in the United States Army Reserve and National Guard.

Mr. Lang worked as a mechanic for 50 years, and enjoyed working with wood to create things and being on the water in his airboat.

Jesse was preceded in death by: his wife of 54 years, Barbara Jean; his parents, Franklin and Theresa Lang; three brothers; and one sister.

Mr. Lang is survived by: his children, Tammie Gray and her husband, David Gray; his son, Raymond Lang and his wife, Donna; his three grandchildren, James Garrison, Cody Lang and Alanna Lang; three great-grandchildren, Anthony Kayde Garrison, Aubrey Lang and Baylee Lang; and his brother, Franklin Allen Lang; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
