Upcoming state-funded resurfacing projects include Slaughter, 1st Avenue and Ash Street

Taylor County has received tens of millions of dollars in state funding to widen and resurface numerous county roads over the past two decades, and many other projects are in various stages of planning and design.

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) funds these projects through two separate, but similar, programs: the Small County Outreach Program (SCOP) and the Small County Road Assistance Program (SCRAP).
