Man arrested after elderly man left for dead, truck stolen

A 72-year-old man was apparently left for dead after being severely beaten and thrown out into the cold early Thursday morning, Feb. 9, when temperatures were hovering in the 30s.

The suspect, Christopher Lyn Houck, 42, fled officers and hid inside a home off Golf Course Road before being taken into custody.
