The Friends of the Taylor County Public Library will present a live, in-person program featuring local author Betty Ann Goodman-Curvin on Monday, Feb. 28, starting at 5:30 p.m.
Goodman-Curvin is a North Florida author of two memoirs of her life.
“Lisa: Born to Inspire” is the true story of Betty’s daughter, who had a terminal condition, and the intense highs and lows affecting the mother who had to stand by helplessly because there was nothing she could do to heal or save her child from the eventual fatal outcome of her condition.
Goodman-Curvin’s second memoir is entitled “Tales of a Country Life,” and consists of true family stories of a family who endured and survived rural life in South Georgia and North Florida during the times of WWI, the Great Depression and the WWII eras.
In “Tales of a Country Life” you will hear about a young couple struggling to help their aging parents and a number of the couple’s own children.
A door prize will be awarded.
If you are unable to attend this program in person, the program will be livestreamed via Facebook.
