City receiving reports of stolen garbage cans

City residents are being urged to keep an eye on and secure their city-issued garbage cans to avoid possibly having to pay a $70 replacement fee if their large, black rolling container goes
missing.

At the city’s recent Feb. 8 meeting, City Public Works Director Chester McAfee was asked by Councilwoman Venita Woodfaulk about replacing some missing trash cans on Thomas Demps Lane “so we can pick some litter up.”
