Kidnapping suspects were mom, boyfriend

The kidnapping suspects captured in Perry last week have been identified as the four-year-old victim’s biological mother and her boyfriend.

Kami George, 29, and Matthew Leighton, 33, were arrested in Perry late Wednesday night, just hours after the Tampa Police Department (TPD) issued an Amber Alert for Terry Reed, who was kidnapped from his daycare earlier that day.
