14th annual Fiddler Crab Festival

Thousands of out-of-town visitors joined locals this past weekend for the 14th annual Fiddler Crab Festival in Steinhatchee. Fireworks and live music kicked off the event on Friday, followed by a full day of activities on Saturday, including a parade and plenty of kids activities.

Taylor County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Thomas Gunter reported that “this was the biggest turnout and smoothest running festival” that he’s been a part of, with just general reports of lost and found wallets, credit cards and cell phones.
