Nelda Mae Franklin, 80, of Perry passed away peacefully at home on Feb. 19, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Nelda was predeceased by: her father, Guy Faircloth; mother, Ida Hester Faircloth; and her husband, Wayne Franklin of Perry. She is survived by: her son, Jeff Franklin of Crawfordville; her daughter, Sharon Lane of Perry; six grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Nelda requested a celebration of life be held in her honor instead of traditional funeral services. We request all of Nelda’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life on Saturday, Feb. 26, at 5 p.m., at 102 West Pine Road in Perry. George Earl McCranie George Earl McCranie, 83, passed away on Feb. 23, 2022. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home of Perry, followed by interment at Pineview Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 10-11 a.m. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
