Local dojo to host English karate team this weekend

Sensei Phil Shire and his team from Suffolk, England, will be in Perry this weekend, leading a series of  trainings at the Perry Shotokan Karate Dojo located at 1713 S. Jefferson St.

On Saturday, the event begins at 10 a.m. under the leadership of Sensei Shire joined by Sensei Ashley Gouthro of Gainesville. Jimmy Bowden is the host Sensei.  Trainings are scheduled for 10:30 a.m.-12 noon and 1:30 until 3 p.m.
