Showcase Theater premiers March 5

Cast & Company Inc. will host its 2022 Spring Showcase Theater on Saturday, March 5.

Community members are invited to the show, which will be performed by area youth at Evangel Christian Fellowship at 6 p.m.

Tickets are on sale for $12 at Eventbrite.com. Doors open at 5:15 p.m.

The showcase theater is described as a “comedy performance for all ages.”

“This year, we held auditions for young people from 12-18 years old and had a huge turnout,” said Tonya Williams Benziger, Cast & Co. director. “It was so refreshing to see, not only is there a need for arts in this community, but these young performers are up for the challenge.”

The showcase consists of 20 skits, sketches and monologues that will keep the laughter — and maybe a few other emotions — rolling all night.

“In such a time as this, we all need more laughter and joy. So, bring a friend, bring your family and come escape with us! You absolutely won’t want to miss it!” Benziger said.

The actors featured in the showcase include: Reece Bethea, Genevieve Burchett, Declan Burchett, Connor Burchett, Penny Copeland, Breanna Denton, Emma Grace Ducksworth, Avery Finley, Shane Flores, Brooklyn Folberth, Elizah Freeman, Bradynn Johnson, Kamrynn Johnson, Gia “Gigi” Lindsey, Daylee Loyed, Taylor Matthews, Autumn Meacham, Cassidy Roberts, Gracie Turnmire and Riley White.
