21 COVID cases reported in Taylor County last week

New positive cases of COVID-19 fell by half last week in Taylor County, the fourth straight week-to-week drop in new cases since the Omicron surge peaked locally in late January.

According to the latest report from the Florida Department of Health (DOH), there were just 21 cases of COVID-19 reported in Taylor County during the seven-day period ending Thursday, Feb. 24, compared to 40 cases reported here the previous week.
