GP donates $8,000 to Boys & Girls Club

Georgia-Pacific presented an $8,000 donation to the local Boys & Girls Club of North Central Florida on Wednesday, March 2.

“Georgia-Pacific (GP) and the Foley Cellulose mill are pleased to support the work and mission of our local Boys & Girls Club,” said Scott Mixon, GP public affairs manager. “We value the tireless commitment of the staff and volunteers who work with our young people. The benefits of their work with the youth in our community can be seen year after year. Support of the Boys & Girls Club is just one example of critical community investments made by Georgia-Pacific and Foley Cellulose. Annually, GP contributes through in-kind giving and direct contributions to causes and organizations aligned with its philanthropic focus areas: education, environment, entrepreneurship and enrichment of our communities.”
