Brown recommends rotating manager’s line of succession

At the recommendation of City Manager Taylor Brown, the city council has designated Perry Police Department (PPD) Chief Jamie Cruse to fill in as acting city manager when Brown is out of town or on vacation.

In preparation for an upcoming vacation, Brown submitted an updated “City Manager Line of Succession” for council approval at the city’s Feb. 22 meeting.
