Waste Pro officials apologize to city council for recent problems

Stating that the waste management industry has been “hit significantly hard by COVID,” Waste Pro Regional Manager Loyd Childree apologized to city officials for recent problems experienced by commercial solid waste collection customers and pledged to improve the company’s customer service response.

At the request of Councilman Ward Ketring, the city council invited a representative of Waste Pro to its Feb. 22 meeting to address issues and complaints from local businesses experiencing issues with solid waste pick-up in recent weeks.
