Local man arrested for attempted murder

A Perry man is facing an attempted murder charge after an alcohol-fueled domestic argument turned violent Monday night, resulting in multiple gunshots being fired inside a home.

Joseph C. Lepine, 64, is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault on a person 65 years of age or older, shooting into or within an occupied dwelling and using a firearm while under the influence of alcohol. He is being held without bond at the Taylor County Jail.
