Narcotics seized during interview

A woman who agreed to meet with investigators at the Perry Police Department (PPD) on Friday regarding the theft of a firearm arrived carrying more than just her purse – she also had a stash of illegal narcotics.
Amanda Leigh Batton, 32, was a person of interest in the theft of a firearm reported on Feb. 28.
