Alert staff stop drugs

Alert event staff flagged a suspicious vehicle attempting to enter Iron Horse Mud Ranch during this past weekend’s “Dysfunctional Family Reunion” event, leading to the arrest of a Monticello man who had nearly 100 grams of “raw” cannabis buds in his possession.

Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Inv. Jason Vinson reported he and Inv. Brian Cruse were assisting Iron Horse staff with security checks at the main entrance gate on Friday, March 4.
