    New marina seeks tax break

    Posted on March 16, 2022

The Taylor County Commission is considering a tax incentive for the currently-under-construction Steinhatchee Marina at Deadman’s Bay, which is promising to create at least 35 jobs when it begins operation within the next several months.

This would only affect the county’s property tax revenues and not taxes levied by the Taylor County School Board.
