Sharon Elaine Ernst, 77, passed away on March 13, 2022, in Live Oak.

She was born June 21, 1944, in Fort Pierce to Harold Woodruff and Ellen Box Woodruff.

Sharon enjoyed bowling and playing canasta and pinochle with her good friends.

She was preceded in death by: her husband, William M. Ernst; her daughter, Tammy Wilson; and her parents, Harold and Ellen Woodruff.

She is survived by: two children, Willam Ernst and his wife, Connie, and Lori Boatwright and her husband, Danny; 10 grandchildren, Billy, Amber and Alyssa Ernst, Megan Carlson, Collin Wilson, Daniel Boatwright, Brandy Giddings, Skyler Wilson, Mark Boatwright and Evette Boatwright; 18 great grandchildren; two brothers, Dennis Woodruff and his wife, Vonnie, and Michael Woodruff and his wife, Debbie; and one sister, Rebecca Markey and her husband, Carl; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17, at 2 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home of Perry with Brother James Taylor officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterward in Pineview Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 1-2 p.m., at Burns Funeral Home of Perry.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to ASPCA.
