    Rebecca “Becky” Claire Mann

    Ms. Rebecca “Becky” Claire Mann, 67, passed away on March 09, 2022, in Birmingham, Ala.

    Becky was born Oct. 26, 1954, in Milton, Fla., to Earl Dean Mann and Mary Ila Patterson Mann.

    She grew up with six sisters in a musical household and she carried her love of music throughout her life.

    Becky enjoyed dancing, painting, writing, plants, the ministry, singing and playing the flute.

    She recieved her Master of Divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Ga. She was an

    ordained minister of the PCUSA church. She trained as a youth leader, lay pastor, christian educator and always enjoyed a good theological discussion.

    She was an amazing mother, mentor, volunteer, friend and devoted Christian. She felt honored to do ministry and tell people about God’s love. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 46:4-5.

    Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Mary Mann, and three sisters, Linda Mackee, Beth Mann and Deanna Lamb.

    She is survived by: her children, Angela Snyder, Jesse Wallace (Fran) and Leanna Wallace; four granddaughters, Bella Snyder, Lorelei Snyder, Genevieve Snyder and Savannah Wallace; two grandsons, Liam Glasscock and J. Damon Wallace; sisters, Mary Catherine Mann, Betty Mann and Elyse Haug (Fritz); and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

    Celebration of life services were held Saturday, March 12, at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Wetumpka in Wetumpka, Ala., with Jonathan Yarboro officiating.

    Brookside Funeral Home, Crematorium & Memorial Gardens of Millbrook, Ala., was in charge of arrangements.
