James Edward Piper, 59, passed away on March 12, 2022, in Tallahassee.
He was born Aug. 25, 1962, in Leominster, Mass., to James Eugene Piper and Margaret Miller Piper.
James was of the Pentecostal faith and a member of Pentecostal of Perry.
He worked with Wal-Mart in the maintenance department for more than15 years.
He loved the outdoors and traveling.
James was preceded in death by: his mother, Margaret Piper; his sister, Tina Piper; and his brother, Dean Tanks.
James is survived by: his father, Jim Piper; his sister, Melody and her husband, Jack Skinner; his two brothers, Joe and Chuck Tanks; one niece, Darlene Skinner; and two nephews, John and James Skinner.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, March 17, at 11 a.m. at Pisgah Cemetery with the Rev. John
Johns officiating. The family received friends prior to the service, from 10-10:45 a.m., Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
