School budget feels pain at pump

Just like every other household and business struggling to deal with high gas prices, the Taylor County School District is not immune to feeling the pain at the pump.

During their regular meeting Tuesday, school board members voted to transfer $75,000 to help cover increased fuel expenses and offset anticipated costs related to upcoming travel for sports teams as the spring season ramps up.
