County seeking grant to fund sidewalk master plan

The Taylor County Commission has agreed to seek a state planning grant to help develop a countywide sidewalk and trail master plan.

The possibility of seeking the grant from the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (FDEO) arose during recent discussions over two unrelated state funding requests to construct sidewalk projects in the county.
