City may ease campground setbacks

At its upcoming April 12 meeting, the city council will hold a public hearing and vote on a proposed ordinance that would reduce the required setback distance for travel trailers in campgrounds located within the City of Perry.

The ordinance would amend the city’s land development regulations (LDRs) to reduce the current 25-foot setback to 10 feet if a six-foot high structure (or fence) is installed and maintained along the property line.
