Ridership on Perry’s in-town Big Bend Transit (BBT) shuttle service dropped significantly over the past two years due to COVID-19, but county officials say that numbers are back on the rise, likely due to the increased cost of gasoline.
The Taylor County Commission held a public hearing at its March 22 meeting to discuss the local Transportation Disadvantaged Program, which includes the shuttle service.
