Murder trials set for May and June

Trial dates have been announced in two separate domestic violence murder cases that shook the community in 2020.

Kenneth Brian Burns, who is charged with first degree murder in the May 9, 2020, stabbing death of his ex-wife, Lorianne “Lori” Burns, is slated to face a jury on May 23.
