The Taylor County Commission signaled at its most recent meeting that it plans to look at multiple options when it comes to mowing county-owned roadside rights-of-way.
The county entered into a three-year contract in 2019 with Kerry Puhl Lawnworks, Inc. that ended Thursday, March 31. The contract provided for a one-year extension, but according to County Administrator LaWanda Pemberton, the contractor verbally notified the county they planned to opt out of the fourth year.
