Deadman’s Curve land swap hearing is delayed

County officials are working on a land swap to acquire the final piece of property necessary to widen Deadman’s Curve on Beach Road.

The Taylor County Commission was set to hold a public hearing on the proposed land swap at its March 22 meeting, but county staff informed the board that the title documents were not ready and asked for the hearing be tabled to a future meeting.
