Brian Keith John passed away on Jan. 20, 2022, very peacefully at his residence in Perry at the age of 56.

He was a mechanic for many years and was employed at Rooted and Ground as a truck mechanic/driver.

Originally from Chattanooga, Tenn., his family later moved to Milton, Fla.

Later, when he was traveling through Taylor County in November 2010, he broke down and a few weeks later he got a job with H. B. Tuten Logging and stayed in Perry and became a resident of Taylor County.

He also worked for M.A Ragoni Logging and Williams Timber, Inc., as a truck driver.

He was raised in Milton and was proceed in death by his father, Raymond N. Johnson.

Brian is survived by: his mother, Catherine Ann Johnson, and brother, Richard B. Johnson, both of Milton; son, Jordan K. Johnson; and daughter, Megann Johnson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

No services are planned.

We have lots of memories and stories of him that are left behind with us here in Taylor County. He was a man of different character, but he LOVED JESUS and would talk to everyone about Him.
