Mary Nina Taylor

Mary Nina Taylor, 84, passed away on April 6, 2022, at her residence in Perry.

She was born Nov. 20, 1937, in Perry to George Brim and Clifford Alberta Suggs Brim.

Mary was a Baptist and a member of San Pedro Baptist Church.

She worked in the poultry industry as a manager for more than 40 years.

She loved her flowers and gardening.

Mary was preceded in death by: her parents, George Brim and Clifford Alberta Suggs Brim; her husband, Junior Taylor; her children, Darrell Cooper and Holly Taylor; her two brothers, Angus Cothran II and David Tidwell; and sisters, Fay Calvin and Kay Brim.

She is survived by: her three sons, George Taylor and his wife, Merylin, Mike Taylor, and Angus and his wife, Melisha Cothran; her daughter, Frances Cooper Ruis; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 9, at 3 p.m. at San Pedro Baptist Church with the Rev. Rayburn Dunnam and the Rev. David Prevatt officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterward in San Pedro Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends today (Friday) from 5-9 p.m. at San Pedro Baptist Church.
