County clears way for 120-unit RV park

The Taylor County Commission has approved a zoning change and associated amendment to the county’s Future Land Use Map (FLUM) that will allow for a new 120-unit recreational vehicle (RV) park campground proposed for development on Beach Road.

The proposed amendment will now be submitted to the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity for review, and according to Taylor County Building Director Danny Griner, the small-scale development is eligible for an expedited review with the agency.
