1 dead in Saturday shooting

A Lake City man is facing homicide charges after allegedly shooting another man at the Gandy Motor Lodge here during the early morning hours of Saturday, April 9.

Elijah Gregory Eggert, 21, was initially booked on charges of discharging a firearm in public and tampering with evidence.
