Rose Ann Drawdy

Rose Ann Drawdy, 82, passed away on April 10, 2022 , in Perry.

She was born Sept. 11, 1939, in Holly, Mich., to George and Ada Mitchell.

Rose was a Baptist and a member of Community Church of Perry.

She worked as a store clerk. She loved the Lord and being a grandmother.

In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Solitaire and Bingo with friends.

Rose was preceded in death by: her husband of 58 years, Leon Drawdy; her parents, George and Ada Mitchell; her grandson, Tony Drawdy; her sisters, Helen and Grace; and her brother, Bob.

Mrs. Drawdy is survived by: her children, Donnie Drawdy, Cynthia Bass, William and Angie Drawdy, Brian and Cheryl Drawdy and Joseph and Angie Drawdy; her grandchildren, DC Bass, Calvin and Jean Marie Bass, Amanda and Phillip Galloway, Nick and Kelly Drawdy and Kayla and Daniel High; and four great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Lil Phillip, Jaxsyn and Finley; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held today (Wednesday) at 11 a.m. at Wayfair Cemetery with Brother Cricket Watson officiating. The family received friends Tuesday, April 12, from 6-8 p.m. At Burns Funeral Home of Perry.

Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at Atkins Barbeque Pit following the graveside service.
