Victim kicked out of moving vehicle

A suspect wanted for allegedly kicking a woman out of moving vehicle led deputies and K9 teams on a manhunt that lasted nearly three hours Tuesday — hiding in a cluster of high weeds in a flooded area behind his mother’s residence.

Dorsey Keith Jones, 28, who was released from prison in January, was taken into custody without further incident and is being held without bond at the Taylor County Jail on charges of kidnapping/ false imprisonment, felony battery, vehicle theft and burglary (with assault/ battery).
