Keaton Beach traffic stop leads to arrests

A routine traffic stop just after midnight near Hodges Park at Keaton Beach led to the arrest of a Mississippi couple on numerous drug charges last Wednesday, April 13.

Lidia Esperanza Corona, 22, of Waynesboro, Miss., was arrested on felony methamphetamine possession (approximately 18 grams), misdemeanor drug equipment possession and misdemeanor failure to register a motor vehicle.

Her boyfriend, Tristan Michael Lee, 26, of Shubuta, Miss., was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug equipment and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
