FWC considering redfish changes

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will consider a massive overhaul to the state’s management of redfish during its May 3-4 meeting, including new bag and vessel limits.

According to a staff memo released on the agency’s website, Taylor County, which would be included in a new “Big Bend” management zone, would see its redfish bag limit increased from one to two fish, but the vessel limit reduced from eight fish to four fish.
