The Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will host a clean-up event at Hickory Mound Impoundment on Saturday, April 23, from 9 a.m. until 12 noon.
All members of the public who are interested in attending are encouraged to meet at the end of Cow Creek Grade at the southeast corner of the impoundment at 9 a.m. Refreshments will be provided, but participants are asked to bring water, bug spray, boots and work gloves.
“We look forward to seeing you there to help us improve the conditions of your public conservation lands for the benefit of wildlife and the enjoyment of the public,” said Big Bend WMA Biological Scientist III Mitchell Haag.
