Nelson runs for open city seat

Scot Allen Nelson has joined the race for the open Perry City Council District 3 seat, becoming the 12th overall local candidate to file to run this year.

Nelson joins Diane C. Landry and Ernestine Laverne Mitchell, who had previously filed to run for the the District 3 seat, which has been vacant since the death of Councilman Mike Deming on Sept. 21, 2021.
