Taylor schools rank 16th in spending per student

The Taylor County School District ranks 16th in the state of Florida out of 67 districts when it comes to the amount of tax dollars spent annually per student — $13,439.

Ranking at the top of the list is Monroe County, where the school district spends an average of $22,395 each year to educate one student.
