American Legion hosts Hatchtoberfest Oct. 19

Steinhatchee’s American Legion is partnering with Roy’s Restaurant to host “Hatchtoberfest” Saturday, Oct. 19.

The day will begin with a “Jogging for Jugs” three-mile fun run/walk with all proceeds benefiting the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer research program.

The $20 entry fee includes a t-shirt and pink pancake breakfast. Registration will be held from 7-7:30 a.m.; the race will start at 8 a.m.

“Hatchtoberfest” will open at 2 p.m. with a Rollin’ on the River Poker Run for golf carts. Entertainment will include the Swinging Bavarians and The Clay Brooker Band. Brats, kraut and beer will be available. The entry fee is $6 per person.
