Dana Lynn Anderson

Dana Lynn Anderson passed away on April 24, 2022, in Perry. She was born May 23, 1973, in Perry to Robert Jackson and Nellie Mae Dixon. Dana worked at Little Pine Pediatrics for nine years as a nurse assistant. She spent 20 years working in healthcare. Her passion was taking care of others. Her hobbies included going to the beach, planting flowers, gathering eggs from her chickens, spending time with family, and, most of all, with her grandchild, Averie, who was the light of her life. She was a Baptist and a member of Athena Baptist Church. Dana was preceded in death by: her parents, Robert Jackson and Nellie Mae Dixon; her sister, Leigha Ellison; and her nephew, Lil Ben Anderson. Mrs. Anderson is survived by: her husband of 31 years, Brent Anderson; her children, Shayne Baumgardner and her husband, Spencer, and Shon Anderson and her fiancé, Travis Peake; and her grandchild, Averie Anderson; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held today (Friday) at 11 a.m. at Crosspoint Baptist Fellowship with Brother Jeremy Gray officiating. Interment services will follow at Pisgah Cemetery.
