Lydia Page Maurer

Lydia Page Maurer passed away at home on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, surrounded by her family and loved ones. She is survived by: her daughters, Denice Freeman (Jimmy), Sandra Parker (Earl), Judy Dorman (Lincoln) and Connie Page; her brothers, William (Christine) Hill and Ronnie Hill; her sisters, Coretha Smith and Betty Trusell; 10 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by: her husbands, Melvin Page and William Maurer; her stepson, James L. Page; brothers, Roland, Franklin, Cecil Irvin and Eldon; and her sisters, Virgie Thames, Shellie Johnson and Lugina Hill. The family would like to thank Big Bend Hospice and nurses Trona, Nancy and Jan. Visitation will be held today (Friday) from 10 a.m. to noon at Beggs Funeral Home, Perry Chapel, followed by graveside services at 1 p.m. at Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery in Perry.
