    Save the date and ‘dive in’ to summer reading

    Mark your calendars now and plan to “dive in” to oceans of possibilities during the Taylor County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program.

    The free weekly programs will be held at the library on Tuesdays from 10:30-11:30 a.m., starting June 14, and continue through July 19.

    Planned programs include:

    • Tuesday, June 14: Police K9.

    • Tuesday, June 21: Dodad’s Lab.

    • Tuesday, June 28; Jiggleman.

    • Tuesday, July 5: Wild Wonders.

    • Tuesday, July 12: Menestrelli Circus Dog Show.

    • Tuesday, July 19: Jacki Manna Ventriloquist.

    The program’s grand finale will be held Tuesday, July 26, at City Park from 10 a.m. to noon, featuring water games, music and more.

    Weekly programs at the library include Children’s Storytime every Thursday from 10:30-11 a.m. (age infant to five years old).

    Lego Camp will launch Friday, June 3, at 11 a.m. and continue every Friday during the summer.

    A weekly movie screening will also begin Friday, June 3, starting at 3:30 p.m. and continue throughout the summer.
