Deming announces run for late father’s city seat

Santina Deming has announced her candidacy for the vacant City Council, District 3 seat.

“I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Perry City Council,” Deming said. “As you may know, my father was a sitting council member at the time of his death last year. His untimely death has created this vacancy on the council, and it would be an honor to serve the citizens of Perry and contribute to my father’s legacy of public service.
