City puts Super-Pufft ‘on notice’

The City of Perry is putting one of its largest employers and utility customers “on notice” that it must “tighten up” when it comes to unpaid bills and do a better job of addressing ongoing complaints from neighboring residents and the general public.

Local manufacturer Super-Pufft Snacks was at the center of several complaints aired during Wednesday night’s city council meeting, including the fact the company is “consistently late” paying its city utility bill and currently has an account balance in excess of $189,000.
