Lady Bulldogs fall in first round of district tourney to Branford

The Taylor County High School (TCHS) Lady Bulldogs’ softball team was narrowly edged out 5-4 by Branford in the opening round of the district tournament on Monday.

Branford took an early lead by scoring two runs in the bottom half of the 2nd inning, before Taylor County tied the game up at 2-2 in the top of the 3rd inning.
