Commission approves addition of a warehouse at county EOC

The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) Division of Emergency Management will soon have a new 1,500 square-foot warehouse, thanks to a $50,000 American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant.

Emergency Management Director John Louk approached the Taylor County Commission at its April 4 meeting to seek permission to site the warehouse near the Taylor County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), which is located adjacent to the Taylor County Jail.
