Bulldogs reach halfway point of spring practices, averaging 48 players per day

Halfway through spring practice, Taylor County High School (TCHS) Head Football Coach Eddie Metcalf is excited about the upcoming season, as some 59 players have turned out to participate, including a daily average of 48. The Bulldogs welcome back several players who are returning home to play this season, including highly-recruited senior safety Cam Upshaw. You can get an early look at the 2022 Bulldogs football team during an Orange-Blue scrimmage on Friday, May 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Dorsett Stadium.

“Things are really beginning to fall into place,” Taylor County High School (TCHS) Head Football Coach Eddie Metcalf said Thursday when asked for an update on the Bulldogs’ spring practice so far.
