Insurance claims bust school budget

The Taylor County School District is facing a 25% increase in health insurance premiums and staring down a $651,891 shortfall in its overall healthcare coverage fund.

Superintendent of Schools Paul Dyal shared the latest updates with board members during their Tuesday, May 3, regular meeting held in Steinhatchee.
