Wentworth wins Pot Williams Golf Tourney for the 4th time

Cole Wentworth of Perry fired a blistering 65 in the first round of the annual Pot Williams Golf Tournament held at Madison RV & Golf Resort last weekend, taking a commanding six-shot lead over the rest of the field that would prove to be the margin of victory in the Championship Flight.

Wentworth became a four-time winner and was presented with the coveted red jacket by defending champion (and fellow Perry native) JB Wilson, who edged out Wentworth last year in a sudden-death playoff one year receiving the red jacket from Wentworth.
